His Lady at Sanjō

I have used a bit of license in the translation here, as the headnote actually says simply ‘a child had been born at Sanjō’. The assumption is that the mother was was Tametō’s wife, in that it is unlikely that he would be going to obtain pheasants as a gift to the family if she were not, but it is impossible to be certain.
