MYS IX: 1714

[One of] two poems from an imperial excursion to the Yoshino palace.

落ちたぎち流るる水の岩に觸れ淀める淀に月の影見ゆ

oti tagiti
nagaruru midu nö
ipa ni pure
yödömeru yödö ni
tukï nö kagë miyu
Falling, foaming
Flowing water
Meets the rocks and
In the stillness of the backwater
Shines the light of the moon.

The author of the above poem is presently unknown.
