SKKS I: 27

As a spring poem:

ふりつみしたかねのみゆきとけにけりきよたき河の水のしらなみ

furitsumishi

mizu no shiranami
Deep-fallen upon
The peaks, the fair snows
Have melted;
Kiyotaki River’s
Waters run with whitecaps.
