SKKS IV: 420

When the Regent and Grand Minister had fifty poems on the moon composed at his house.

さむしろやまつよの秋の風ふけて月をかたしくうぢのはしひめ

samushiro ya
matsu yo no aki no
kaze fukete
tsuki o katashiku
uji no hashihime
Chill, this thin straw mat;
Awaiting through the night as the Autumn
Wind blows stronger,
Moonlight falling all around,
My maid at Uji Bridge.
