こひすとてみはいたづらにならばなれわれなつむしになりやしなまし

koisu tote
mi wa itazura ni
naraba nare
ware natsumushi ni
nari ya shinamashi
‘I’ll fall in love!’ I say, and
If that’s pointless, then
So be it!
I’d rather a firefly
Become and meet my death!
