なよ竹のちぢのさ枝のはは枝のそのふしふしによよはこもれり

nayotake no
chiji no sa’eda no
haha’eda no
sono fushifushi ni
yoyo wa komoreri

The young bamboo has
A thousand, thousand branches
Dividing from each other,
All of their joints
Encompass many ages.
