あまのがはほしあひのそらをみるほどもなほわすられぬすずむしのこゑ

ama no gawa
hoshiai no sora o
miru hodo mo
nao wasurarenu
suzumushi no koe

The River of Heaven fills
The sky of trysting stars, and
When I gaze upon it
Even less might I forget
The bell crickets’ song.
