今こむとたのめし人はみえなくに秋風さむみ雁は来にけり

ima komu to
tanomeshi hito wa
mienaku ni
akikaze samumi
kari wa kinikeri
‘I’m coming now,’
I trusted those words of his, but

Carried on the chill autumn wind
