あきのののつゆにおかるるをみなへしはらふひとなみぬれつつやふる

tsuyu ni okaruru
ominaeshi
harau hito nami
nuretsutsu ya furu
In the autumn meadows
Dripped with dewdrops are
The maidenflowers—
With no one to brush them off
Will they ever be so drenched?
