もらしわびぬしのぶのおくの山ふかみ木がくれてゆく谷川の水

morashiwabinu
shinobu no oku no
yama fukami
kogakureteyuku
tanikawa no mizu

Drenched in suffering
Deep within Shinobu’s secret
Mountain depths
Hidden ‘neath the trees flows
The waters of a mountain stream.
