みよしのの山のしら雪つもるらしふるさとさむくなりまさるなり

miyoshino no
yama no shirayuki
tsumorurashi
furusato samuku
narimasaru nari
On fair Yoshino
Mountain white snow fall
Drifts high, it seems,
For in this ancient place the chill
Grows ever stronger.
