Minamoto no Tsunefusa 源経房 (968-1023) was the fourth son of Minamoto no Taka’akira (914-982) and, like his father, was appointed to the position of Provisional Governor of the Dazaifu in Kyushu. Unlike his father, however, he died there and never returned to the capital. His talents as a poet were recogised by the inclusion of poems by him in the Shūishū Anthology.
