かれはてむ後しのべとや夏草のふかくは人のたのめおきけむ

natsukusa no
fukaku wa hito no
tanome okikemu

‘When all is withered and gone,
Think fondly of me still!’—is that why
As summer grasses
Deeply, she has
Such expectations on me?
