Sukenobu 助信 was the eldest son of Fujiwara no Atsutada 藤原敦忠 (906-943), meaning that the lady who had died was his wife. Little is known about her beyond the fact that she was the daughter of a Minamoto Councillor and was Sukenobu’s mother.
