Sakaki 榊

神代より色もかはらぬ榊ばはさかえときはににほふなりけり

kamiyo yori
iro mo kawaranu
sakakiba wa
sakae tokiwa ni
niou narikeri

Since the Age of Gods
Unchanged are the hues of
Leaves upon the sacred tree:
Eternal glory
Shining forth!
