Falling Blossom (落花)

風ふけば木すゑもいその心ちして花のしらゆふ浪ぞこえける

kaze fukeba

hana no shirayū
nami zo koekeru
When the wind does blow
Even the treetops, like rocks
Do feel, with
Blossom, white as mulberry cloth,
Breaking on them in waves.
