うぢがはのなみの枕に夢さめて
| udi gaFa no nami no makura ni yume samete |
At the River Uji Pillowed by the waves And waking from a dream |
And I concluded:
よるはしひめやいもねざるらむ
| yoru FasiFime ya i mo nezaruramu |
At night the Lady of the Bridge Must not sleep a wink! |
