And again to the lady:

そへてまたあはぬめをさへ嘆くかなもの思ふときはまことなりけり

soFete mata
aFanu me wo saFe
nageku kana
mono’omoFu toki Fa
makoto narikeri

What’s more,
I cannot close my eyes at all,
Such is my grief;
That my gloomy thoughts are so
Is true, I tell you.
