Snow amidst a journey

たび衣夜はのかたしきさえさえて野中の庵に雪降りにけり

nonaka no io ni
yuki furinikeri
In my traveller’s garb
At midnight a single spread sleeve
Is deeply chill, indeed
Around my hut upon the plains
