かぜふけばしのにみだるる刈萱も夕はわきて露こぼれけり

kaze fukeba
shino ni midaruru
karukaya mo
yū wa wakite
tsuyu koborekeri
When the wind does blow
Most tangled are
The scrubby grasses,
At eventide, particularly,
Do they drip with dew.[i]
